My favorite time of year is the the Irem Circus comes to Kingston, Pennsylvania. I am so honored to be considered a VIP where I get to speak in the center rink, go back stage and greet the animals and performers, and dance with the feather guy during the show trying not to trip over my own two feet. Going to 4 different shows during the week, I can honestly say I had a little too much popcorn to eat. The Shepards Unit always makes the most delicious popcorn, and I got to help pop it just like what my grandfather used to do. All of the men have been so welcoming towards me, and I couldn't be more blessed. Volunteering my time at the circus is probably the most fun appearance I do every year.
